Rail Trail Public WC

A public washroom facility serving the Coldstream Rail Trail, located in Coldstream, BC. The building provides accessible, year-round washroom amenities for trail users along one of the region's most popular active transportation corridors. The structure is cast-in-place concrete, left exposed on the exterior, with an inlaid relief of the Rail Trail crest cast directly into the concrete face. The massing is simple and robust, appropriate to its trail-side setting and designed for durability in a high-use public environment. The project included a bike repair station and accessible site improvements to support the growing recreational demand on the Rail Trail network.
