The Albert Place Townhomes project added 29 affordable family and senior rental units across three new buildings arranged around a central courtyard. The buildings utilize wood-frame construction with careful coordination to support stacked rowhouse layouts, continuous walkways, and accessible common areas creating a community-oriented development.

Cawston is Innocept’s largest residential project, an 82-unit condominium in downtown Kelowna. R+A Engineering delivered structural solutions tailored to the challenges of a constrained urban site, developing efficient load paths, foundation systems, and lateral force-resisting elements that support modern residential layouts. The result is a durable and well-engineered structure that reflects both design intent and long-term performance.

BX Elementary School features the addition of 15 classrooms and renovations to the existing facility to accommodate a growing student population. Careful consideration of the existing structural system allowed for larger window openings to bring more natural light into classrooms and corridors. The L-shaped addition with a bonus courtyard preserves existing playing fields while expanding outdoor activity space.

St. Paul’s is a six-storey, 54-unit residential building featuring 50 condos and 4 townhomes in Kelowna’s Cultural District. The project utilizes wood-frame construction with a split-level parkade to efficiently accommodate parking while maximizing livable space. Structural systems were carefully coordinated to support multiple terraces, recessed balconies, and top-floor private decks, while maintaining open and functional interiors.

The new Ford Lincoln Dealership features primarily steel construction with a large open-span service area to accommodate vehicle maintenance and display. Structural systems were carefully designed to maximize functional interior space while supporting expansive glazing and modern architectural elements.

A new 14,000 sq.ft Civic Centre, which brings multiple municipal functions under one roof while allowing for future expansion. The building features efficient structural systems that maximize interior flexibility for offices, council chambers, a library, museum, and visitor centre. Careful coordination with the architect ensured the structure supports both functional programming and aesthetic design. The result is a durable, adaptable, and efficient facility that meets current standards and can grow with the community.

Kal Tire Place is a state-of-the-art multi-use facility with seating for 3,006 and an additional 500 standing room spots, hosting hockey, lacrosse, concerts, and community events. The structure incorporates long-span steel and concrete elements to support the large open ice surfaces, including an NHL-to-Olympic adjustable rink. The North Addition added a second NHL-sized ice sheet, seating for 400, program areas, a dry land training facility, multi-purpose rooms, and office space. Careful coordination of structural systems ensured durability, functionality, and flexibility for a variety of public and recreational uses.

Highridge House is a 5,200 sq. ft. custom home perched above Kalamalka Lake, featuring expansive double-height spaces and large glazed areas. Steel, concrete, and timber elements support the open interiors and glass doors that connect inside and out. A long concrete wall organizes circulation while timber details provide structural support and solar protection. Completed in 2018, the home blends architectural elegance with precise, innovative structural design.

Boomerang Bay is a 9,000 sq. ft. custom home on Okanagan Lake featuring open, flowing interior spaces and expansive outdoor living areas. Steel, concrete, and timber elements form the structural framework, supporting large glazed areas and high ceilings while complementing the architectural vision

This exceptional lakeside estate features a nearly 20,000 sq. ft. residence and associated structures. Steel, concrete, and timber elements support expansive open-plan living spaces and large glazed areas, with extensive timber framing designed in collaboration with Daizen Joinery. Careful coordination of structural systems allowed for seamless integration of luxury finishes, natural materials, and complex site conditions, resulting in a landmark estate along Okanagan Lake.

Vernon Secondary School is a 950-student capacity facility designed to meet LEED® Gold standards. The building is primarily steel construction, featuring long-span open web steel joists in the gymnasium to support flexible, open spaces for athletics and assemblies. A faceted glazed façade enhances natural light while integrating seamlessly with the structural systems.

The Sterling Centre is a sleek, modern four-storey medical office building featuring conventional stick-frame construction on a concrete foundation. The structural design supports clean lines and bold, primary shapes, complementing the architectural concept while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Careful attention to layout and structural detailing ensures durability and functionality throughout the building
